Meltabs is a form of Generic Viagra. Hence, it comprises of Sildenafil Citrate as the active ingredient. Sildenafil citrate received approval for the use in treatment of ED by the FDA in the year 1998.

• It causes severe drop in blood pressure when given with following substances or medications:
• Nitrates
• Alpha-blockers and other antihypertensive like amlodipine and beta-blockers
• Simultaneous administration of the drugs like antivirals (ritonavir, saquinavir), anti-fungals (ketoconazole, itraconazole), and anti-bacterial (erythromycin) with Meltabs is not recommended.

What should be done in case of Overdose?

Overdose of Meltabs Tablets can cause physical symptoms like:

• Chest pain
• Nausea
• Irregular heartbeat
• Light-headedness or fainting

In case if the consciousness is lost, pursue emergency medical help instantly.

What if a dose of Meltabs is missed?

• Take the missed dose as soon as you reminisce.
• If the time is close to the next dose, skip the missed dose and wait for the time to take the next dose
• Do not take two tablets together or in short time gap to pay off for the missed dose.
• A gap of 24 hours should be preserved amid subsequent doses to prevent complications caused by overdose and severe side-effects.
