Severe side effects of Vilitra are rarely observed. Call your physician at once in case the following severe side-effects are observed.

• Severe dizziness
• Breathing difficulty 
• Fainting
• Pain in left arm, chest, and jaw

Which drugs cannot be taken with Vilitra?

The following medicines should not be consumed Vilitra

• Azole antifungals (itraconazole, ketoconazole)
• Nitrates (nitroglycerin, isosorbide)
• Alpha-blockers (doxazosin, tamsulosin)

• Antivirals (ritonavir, saquinavir), 
• Antibiotics (erythromycin clarithromycin)
• HIV protease inhibitors (such as indinavir, ritonavir)

If Vilitra and the above medications are consumed simultaneously it can produce serious side-effects. So avoid consuming these medications together. 

What should be done in the case of Overdose?

Symptoms of overdose may include 

• Back pain
• Muscle pain
• Abnormal vision

If anyone is suffering from above overdose symptoms, call the poison control center at once.

What if a dose of Vilitra is missed?

• A missed dose should be taken immediately after you recollect.
• If it is almost the time to consume the next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next scheduled dose. 
• Do not take an additional dose to compensate for the missed dose.
• A gap of 24 hours should be maintained between two doses of this medication
