  • Additional Info

Tadalafil is the active component of Tadalis oral jelly. It was launched after Sildenafil citrate and Vardenafil came in the year 2003 by the FDA. It is rather different from these drugs; key differences being:

  • Consumption of fatty meals or moderate amount of liquor does not disturb absorption or action of Tadalis oral jelly
  • A long half-life of 18 hours in the body making it long acting with which sexual activity may be more effortlessly restored using this medication.
  • Effect of this tablet lasts up to 36 hours after ingestion and hence, it is at times called ‘the weekend pill’

Tadalafil in Tadalis oral jelly is a PDE-5 inhibitor which blocks the enzyme PDE-5 accountable for the deprived blood flow to the penis which is the chief reason after ED in males. By hindering the enzyme PDE-5, Tadalafil upsurges the levels of chemical called nitric oxide and the enzyme guanylyl cyclase. This in turn enhances the production of cGMP, a powerful vasodilator which enlarges the penile blood vessels in the body and relaxes the penile muscles. This leads to the stable the hard erection in men and thus, allows men to last longer during sexual intercourse.

As needed use-

ED: Starting dose: 10 mg as needed 30-60 minutes before sexual activity. Not to be taken more than once per day.

Once daily use-

ED: 2.5 mg taken once daily, without regard to timing of sexual activity. May increase to 5 mg based upon efficacy and tolerability
