Alzheimer disease. Taking sulbutriamine by mouth for 3 months improves the condition of Alzheimer's disease in the early stages. The condition is also improved on combining it with the anti-Alzheimer's drug donepezil (Aricept) for 3 months by improving memory of the patient.

Erectile dysfunction (ED).Taking sulbutiamine for 30 days has also shown to improve ED in 16 out of 20 men.
