Kaletra Generic – Medication to Treat AIDS/HIV

Generic Kaletra is a commonly prescribed antiretroviral medication for people with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection of Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS). It is actively composed of two drugs – lopinavir in 200 mg potency and ritonavir in 50 mg. Generic Kaletra is prescribed along with other antiretroviral drugs, for the HIV treatment in adults and pediatric patients above 14. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the use of lopinavir and ritonavir as a single medicine in 2000. This medicine does not cure HIV/AIDS but it does control the infection by reducing the number of viruses in the body.

Lopinavir and ritonavir in Generic Kaletra are antiretroviral drugs that belong to a class of drugs called protease inhibitors. Ritonavir has been found to boost the levels of lopinavir in the body, allowing lopinavir to work better when it comes to reducing the viral load. Protease inhibitors prevent viral replication by adhering to viral proteases and inhibiting proteolytic cleavage of proteins or enzymes that produce infectious viral particles. In short, Generic Kaletra blocks the enzyme that is responsible for the HIV replication.

I’ve been using Generic Kaletra because the branded version is too expensive to afford. I buy Generic Kaletra online from this store as it offers me good deals on a large supply.
